London is definitely on my top 3 favorite places list. I had an absolute blast in London. I stayed with a friend of mine in London. She took me to visit the Tower Of London. I saw the armory of King Henry, the Tower Prison, the Torture Chambers, the Tower, and the Crown Jewel Vault House. My friend also took me to see my first indie rock concert. The opening band was called Dead Pony which I enjoyed that band. Mother Mother the main headliner of the night surprised me. I loved the concert and I love that some of their songs speak so openly about mental health and the struggles and fighting to find happiness again. It's not always easy to speak openly even through lyrics about battles with personal demons.The singer spoke on the fact that during the concert we all were a family, and we would watch each others backs, and that the room was a safe space of acceptance, and love, and respect. I thought this open dialogue between the band and the audience was so incredibly touching! Music speaks when there are no words that would do justice.
